PARIS, Ky. (WKYT) – A cyclosporasis outbreak affecting nearly 200 people across Kentucky, including more than a dozen combined cases in Fayette and Madison counties, is prompting some consumers to bypass major retailers and buy produce directly from local farms.
Ally Vallandingham, co-owner of Stepping Stone Farm in Paris, said she has seen an increase in customers coming directly to her farm since the outbreak began.
