This week’s scorching heat wave is expected to linger for a few more days, but it shouldn’t be long until Kentucky gets a taste of fall weather, according to the National Weather Service.
Daily high temperatures in the 90s are expected to persist in Kentucky through Sunday. The NWS’ seven-day forecast for Lexington is predicting a high temperature of 91 degrees on Friday, followed by 89 degrees on Saturday and 90 degrees on Sunday.
