Lexington academy students evacuated due to police investigation: What we know

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Law enforcement agencies in Lexington are reportedly investigating at a Fayette County middle and high school academy.

Officials with the Lexington Fire Department (LFD) told FOX 56 News just before 9 a.m. on Sept. 23 that crews were standing by at Marin Luther King Jr. Academy for Excellence while police officers were investigating.

Around 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, officials with Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) said all students at the academy were safe and outside the building.
