LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Two University of Kentucky seniors are recovering after they say they were assaulted by a group of men early Sunday morning near South Broadway and Angliana Avenue.
Charles Thompson and Carter Vaughn have lived in student housing off Angliana Avenue for the last two years. They say the walk to campus takes about 15 to 20 minutes, a walk they both enjoy.
“Everybody down here has been nothing but nice to us and I’ve never really had a bad experience anywhere in Lexington or UK. Yeah, I would say the exact same thing,” Thompson and Vaughn said…
