$10.5 Million Flightline Colt Arrives at Santa Anita

The Flightline colt, who sold for an eye-popping $10.5 million April 17 at the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Spring 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale, arrived at trainer Bob Baffert’s barn at Santa Anita Park April 18, shortly before 9:00 p.m.

“He’s a specimen,” Baffert said April 19. “A man among boys, really. And with his pedigree, you know why he cost so much.”

Bloodstock agent Donato Lanni signed the sales ticket for the colt on behalf of owner Zedan Racing, whose principal is Amr Zedan. The purchase price shattered the all-time Ocala Breeders’ Sales record of $3 million, which Zedan paid for grade 1 winner Brant at the 2025 OBS March Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training.
