Lincoln Police say a bicycle rider was struck by a vehicle Wednesday night at 20th and ‘A’ Streets. LPD says the vehicle was westbound on ‘A’ and had a green light while the bicycle was southbound on on 20th Street approaching a stop sign around 9:30 p.m.
The driver told officers the bicycle pulled into the intersection and she was unable to avoid the collision. The woman estimated she was going between 30 and 35 miles per hour.
