LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin announced Friday that a North Little Rock woman has been convicted of Medicaid fraud after admitting she billed the state for services she never provided.
According to Griffin, Sarah Childers, 42, pled guilty on July 23 to Medicaid fraud, a Class C felony. Childers, a speech therapist contracted to provide services to students in area schools, failed to report to those schools but still submitted claims to Medicaid.
As part of her sentence, Childers received five years of probation, must pay $13,494.30 in restitution and was ordered to pay a $3,500 fine plus court costs…
