LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-The Little Rock School District is considering closing three elementary schools as part of a plan to address a projected $5 million to $6 million budget gap next school year.
The proposal was the focus of the district’s first community meeting Wednesday night at Little Rock Southwest High School as students, families, staff and community members heard more about LRSD Forward, the district’s short-term resource equity and strategic redesign plan.
