POINSETT COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) – A 56-year-old Trumann man has been returned to Arkansas from Tennessee and faces charges including first-degree murder, according to the Trumann Police Department.
Rudy Alford Ray was arrested in Franklin, Tennessee in connection with a homicide investigation. On Aug. 28, Trumann officers took custody of Ray and transported him to Arkansas after he waived extradition, according to the Trumann Police Department.
Ray is charged with first-degree murder, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with physical evidence.
He is scheduled to appear for a bond hearing Aug. 31 in Harrisburg in Poinsett County Circuit Court.
