Suspect still at large in newly released video of RTD stabbing

DENVER (KDVR) — A suspect is still at large after a newly released video shows a man stabbing another person on an RTD bus in early June.

The Denver Police Department is still investigating a stabbing that took place on an RTD bus in the area of South Meade Street and West Alameda Avenue on June 4. RTD released the video of the attack, which shows a man apparently stabbing another person.

In the video, the man is sitting on one side of the bus. A person on the other side of the bus gets off, and two people get on and sit in the same spot. Minutes later, the video shows a man get up and hold what appears to be a knife to the victim’s face.

Police said the victim took a while to find, but they were stabbed in the hand and only had minor injuries. At this time, it’s unclear whether this was a random or targeted attack…
