DENVER (KDVR) — A man convicted in connection with a deadly 2023 shooting near Cheesman Park was sentenced to 45 years in prison on Thursday.
The Denver District Attorney’s Office announced on social media that Armoni Patterson will spend 45 years behind bars after he pleaded guilty to the following charges:
- Conspiracy to commit murder in the second degree
- Attempt to commit assault in the first degree
Patterson pleaded guilty to the charges in July, as the conspiracy charges stemmed from the deadly shooting of 28-year-old Michael Milligan near Cheesman Park on Nov. 30, 2023.
A co-defendant, Travis Jackson, was already convicted during trial of first-degree murder and first-degree assault, with his sentencing set for Sept. 18…
