A 57-year-old man who was struck and killed by a vehicle in the Central-Alameda neighborhood of South Los Angeles was publicly identified Monday.
The collision occurred about 8:35 p.m. Friday at Duarte and 55th streets, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
A white Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling north at the intersection when it struck the pedestrian, who was later identified by the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office as Aubrey Player. His place of residence was not immediately available…
