Three men were shot to death early Sunday in the Florence‑Firestone community of unincorporated Los Angeles County, a burst of gunfire on Firestone Boulevard that left residents waking up to a fresh homicide investigation in their neighborhood.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the shooting was reported at about 1:57 a.m. in the 1600 block of Firestone Boulevard. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene as deputies and paramedics responded, and sheriff’s homicide detectives moved in to begin processing the area.
As of early Sunday, authorities had not publicly released the victims’ names or any additional details about what led up to the violence.
