Four Glendale men were arrested Friday after Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) deputies recovered more than $400,000 worth of stolen cargo in Valencia, according to sheriff’s officials.
On Friday, July 17, deputies assigned to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station were notified by detectives with the LASD Major Crimes Bureau that a stolen semi-truck carrying cargo was actively transmitting its location in the Valencia area.
Deputies searched the area and located the semi-truck, where they observed several individuals unloading merchandise from the stolen trailer and transferring it into a Penske box truck, officials said.
The suspects attempted to flee after realizing deputies had located them. Responding deputies quickly detained all four individuals without incident, according to the Sheriff’s officials…
