An investigation is underway after a body was discovered near an on-ramp to the 5 Freeway near Los Angeles’ Boyle Heights neighborhood Tuesday morning.
The unidentified body was found by a Caltrans crew working on the Mission Road on-ramp to the southbound side of the freeway at about 9 a.m., a California Highway Patrol spokesperson told KTLA.
No further information about a possible cause of death or the person’s identity was immediately available.
