A fair-skinned male, around 30 years old, who had barricaded himself at a Windsor Square home on Sunday was arrested and taken into custody after a six- hour standoff with LAPD SWAT teams.
The man was seen in the neighborhood around 8 am acting erratically and threw a rock or brick into the plate-glass window of a home on Lucerne near Beverly Blvd. He gained entry to the home, surprising the family who were at home at the time. A family member called the police, who quickly responded, according to Wilshire Division Senior Lead Officer Tyler Shuck, who was on the scene shortly thereafter and remained there throughout the incident.
