Man Found Dead Behind Valencia Lanes Bowling Alley

A person was found dead behind the Valencia Lanes bowling alley Tuesday evening.

Around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, first responders received reports of a person in cardiac arrest at the Valencia Lanes bowling alley on Lyons Avenue, said Justin Yang, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“Arriving units were directed to the rear of the business where a man was found pulseless and apneic and appeared to be from a self inflicted cardiac arrest,” Yang said. “Resuscitation efforts were not performed and the body was preserved for the homicide unit of the Sheriff’s Department.”

Officials with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau confirmed a detective responded to the scene, however, no information was released to the media into the investigation as of the publication of this article…
