EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — The Superior Court of Los Angeles County is alerting residents Friday to a reported jury duty scam involving callers falsely claiming that an individual has missed jury service and has an outstanding warrant.
Residents are encouraged to be cautious of unsolicited phone calls, emails or text messages regarding jury service, particularly communications that include threats of arrest, claim a warrant has been issued, demand immediate action or request personal or financial information.
