A Mother Lode staffer was taken to the hospital early Sunday after an altercation at the iconic bar, with the initial 911 call saying that a security employee had been stabbed.
The employee was identified to WEHOonline as Bobby Hurtzel. A friend, who asked not to be identified because they were not authorized to speak about the incident, said Hurtzel was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
A watch sergeant at the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station confirmed to WEHOonline Sunday afternoon that there had been an “altercation and that the injured person was transported to a local hospital,” but said he could not confirm a stabbing. “I don’t know that there was a stabbing or what type of weapon was used,” the sergeant said…
