Puppy found with traumatic injury is now up for adoption in Pasadena

A young and incredibly resilient puppy that suffered a traumatic injury is now up for adoption in Pasadena.

The young shepherd-husky mix named Peanut arrived at Pasadena Humane several weeks ago, missing most of his nose and the soft tissue on his upper muzzle. Peanut also suffered a fractured jaw.

He was reportedly found in Sierra Madre and brought to the shelter by a good Samaritan. It’s unclear how Peanut was injured.

Despite the injuries, Peanut has reportedly exuded a cheerful, playful attitude that warmed the hearts of his caretakers and veterinarians…
