After losing cats to coyotes in the past, a Pico Rivera family is calling their pet cat a fighter after a dramatic coyote encounter was caught on camera.
The footage shows a coyote approaching the family’s yard on Manzanar Avenue on Friday before coming face-to-face with Mama, a roughly 10-year-old cat. Instead of running, Mama appears to stand her ground, swiping and chasing the animal away.
