LOS ANGELES – One man was shot to death and another man was critically wounded Sunday in the Florence-Firestone community of unincorporated Los Angeles County.
The shooting was reported at 1:57 a.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of Firestone Boulevard, just east of Compton Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The department said two victims were shot while standing in the parking lot of a strip mall near the Los Angeles Metro Blue Line Station.
