A Ventura County man was charged with trafficking a 14-year-old boy who had been reported missing by family members.
Brandon Holguin, 26, of Thousand Oaks, reportedly targeted the boy at a thrift store about four to six months before the incident, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said.
From May 2-5, 2025, Holguin is accused of trafficking the boy from a location near his home in north L.A. County to several other locations. He allegedly took the boy’s cell phone and jewelry and sold the items to collect hundreds of dollars in cash.
