Los Angeles County health officials reported a confirmed case of measles on Saturday in a resident who recently traveled internationally, the fifth case of measles reported by the county in 2026.
The traveler arrived on Alaska Airlines flight 1354 at the Tom Bradley International Airport Terminal B on Thursday, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. Individuals who were at Terminal B from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. that day may have been exposed to the measles virus.
“In collaboration with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, passengers seated near the infected traveler will be notified by their respective local health departments,” the department said…
