LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Traffic that once traveled on I-65 is now making its way through Louisville neighborhoods, including Germantown and Shelby Park.
On Shelby Street, Reed Hughes has noticed a significant increase in traffic and commute times.
“It is a little bit more frustrating, it adds like an extra 25 minutes to the commute every day when I do have to go to the office. So that’s not great,” Hughes said. “Just navigating around a neighborhood that you know is known for its like ease of getting around. The fact that it’s just flooded with cars constantly makes it a lot more difficult to do stuff that I was usually doing.”…
