Emergency services respond to fuel leak, hazmat incident on I-264 West in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Emergency Services are responding to a reported fuel leak and hazmat incident Monday evening on Interstate 264 westbound.

According to Louisville Metro councilwoman Crystal Bast, the “significant” leak happened on I-264 West between Dixie Highway, Southern Parkway and 3rd street.

Bast said that a semi-truck traveling in the area may have been leaking fuel. The truck is no longer on the scene, and Bast said it’s possible the driver was unaware of the leak…
