Southern Indiana lawyer wants justice for family whose 5-year-old was allegedly ‘manhandled’ in a classroom

HARRISON COUNTY, Ind. (WAVE) – A Southern Indiana family is hoping to hold an organization accountable after they say one of that organization’s employees “manhandled” their five-year-old son.

Jeffersonville attorney Larry Wilder said the incident happened at North Harrison Elementary School in early May.

Wilder told WAVE that the five-year-old’s family came to him, saying their son had been picked up, wrapped up in a blanket and laid on top of by an employee of Blue River Services, a company contracted by the district to teach a preschool class…
