MOUNT WASHINGTON, Ky. — A state of emergency is in effect in Bullitt County after flash flooding sent water into homes, garages and vehicles in Mount Washington, where some residents said they have dealt with similar flooding before.
County officials are urging residents not to drive through standing water or flooded roadways.
