LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville Fire crews knocked down a structure fire at an occupied home in the 600 block of S. 36th Street early this morning.
Firefighters were dispatched at about 5:56 a.m. and arrived three minutes later to find heavy fire from the front of the single-family residence. Crews had the fire under control by 6:21 a.m.
The people in the home got out safely before crews arrived, and firefighters rescued a cat from the home. No injuries were reported. The fire was contained primarily to the front portion of the structure, but one adult resident and the cat were displaced…
