WOOD RIVER — Wood River’s annual Labor Day Parade will return to its usual route this year after road work on Wood River Avenue displaced it last year.
The parade, set for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, is the first of two Labor Day parades sponsored by the Greater Madison County Federation of Labor.
The second, larger parade will start at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 7 in Granite City.
