Teenage girl in critical condition after being shot near Louisville bus stop

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A teenage girl is in critical condition she was shot near a bus stop in Louisville’s Park Duvalle neighborhood Tuesday morning.

According to Louisville Metro Police Chief Paul Humphrey, police were called to the intersection of Beech Street and Wyandotte Avenue at 8 a.m. on a reported shooting. That’s off Algonquin Parkway, not far from Algonquin Park.

Once on scene, police found a teenage girl who was shot. She was taken to UofL Hospital in critical condition. Humphrey said LMPD’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation because of the extent of her injuries…
