BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Kentucky Derby is this week, and each day has its own theme, but have you picked out your outfit for the ‘Run for Roses’?
According to Kathleen Overton, owner of Prim and Brim, Kelly Green and pink are in style, along with fascinators.
“Some of the things we’ve seen this year is that Derby is not just on Saturday, Derby week has really gotten big. So it starts on Tuesday with 502’sDay, and then Wednesday is Winsday, Thursday, Thurby, Kentucky Oaks is on Friday and on Saturday is Derby. So, each day kind of have their own theme as well, obviously for Oaks on Friday its in support of breast cancer awareness so people wear pink,” Overton said…
