Ninth and O dedicates building; honors pastor on his 25th anniversary

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (KT) — Ninth and O Baptist Church took a significant step forward Sunday with the dedication of a building that will provide space for continued growth in its ministries, and at the same time honored its lead pastor, Bill Cook, on his 25th anniversary at the church.

The ribbon cutting and dedication of a “More Room for More Disciples” building expansion was a “fantastic day — I don’t think it could have gone any better,” said Cook, noting the crowd numbered about 850 people.

“We had a great crowd, everybody was excited, and everybody stayed for lunch. I think it (building expansion) will be a great help to us. We needed more room for Bible fellowship groups (Sunday school) and our Wednesday night discipleship groups.”

The Wednesday night activities draw about 65 percent of the Sunday morning attendance…
