BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WZTV) — A Louisville man faces murder charges after police say he crossed into oncoming traffic while driving under the influence, killing a 79-year-old man and critically injuring the victim’s wife.
Teudis Hernandez, 51, was traveling south on a Kentucky highway when he drifted into the northbound lane and struck a 1966 Ford Mustang head-on, according to police.
The Mustang was driven by Edward Hovan, 79, who died at the scene. His wife, Christine Hovan, 71, sustained severe injuries and is in critical condition at a Louisville hospital. Hernandez suffered minor injuries…
