Defenders drop second straight game against Louisville, fail to lock up playoff berth

LOUISVILLE (7News) — Chaos followed the DC Defenders once again Saturday evening.

For the second straight week, DC was upset by the Louisville Kings, 33-30, delaying the team’s playoff clinch yet again.

Following a 36-minute weather delay, DC’s Xazavian Valladay opened the game with a 54-yard kickoff return, and one play later Jordan Ta’amu hit Ty Scott for a 41-yard touchdown to give DC a quick 7-0 lead…
