LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Jefferson County saw a record number of ballots cast during early voting for the primary.
Jefferson County Clerk David Yates said in a release over the course of the three-day in-person early voting period and including absentee voting, more than 23,000 people cast their ballots, a 4% turnout.
“Jefferson County voters showed up in record numbers for early primary voting, and I’m incredibly proud of the enthusiasm we’re seeing,” Yates said. “Our team worked hard to expand access with 24 early‑voting sites, and the community responded.”…
