LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Police seized two more vehicles as part of an ongoing crackdown on illegal street racing.
LMPD said in a social media post that a Dodge Charger and a BMW were stopped Sunday night after being observed racing along Preston Highway near Outer Loop. Both vehicles were impounded under the city’s street racing ordinance.
The ordinance requires a $1,000 fine and a six-month impound for a first offense. Repeat violations can result in higher fines and longer impound periods…
