The original home of the beloved, legendary steakhouse — Texas Roadhouse — is set to close after 33 years and relocate down the road.
While the name is synonymous with the Lone Star state, it wasn’t actually founded in Texas, nor in Kentucky, where its headquarters are.
Rather, it was founded in 1993 in a mall in Clarksville, Indiana, by the late W. Kent Taylor, the location that the company announced would close.
