LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Two high school seniors in Louisville reached a milestone Friday night, becoming the first students with Down syndrome to graduate from a very unique program.
The program, called Providence School, is attached to the Christian Academy of Louisville, and it is one of the only private schools in the country that allows students with Down syndrome to integrate in classes and activities with their peers.
