LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A Brookston, Indiana, woman was arrested Friday afternoon after multiple 911 callers reported a vehicle speeding and weaving through traffic on Interstate 65 in Clark County.
Indiana State Police said that around 4:34 p.m., May 22, Trooper Taylor Wolfe overheard radio traffic about a silver Chevrolet Camaro traveling southbound near the 13-mile marker at a high rate of speed and making unsafe lane changes. A Sellersburg Police unit also reported the vehicle driving recklessly near the 8.6-mile marker.
Wolfe located the Camaro near the 6.5-mile marker and attempted a traffic stop, but police said the driver continued southbound at speeds estimated between 120 and 130 mph. Troopers said the car’s rear bumper was missing, and there was no visible registration. With additional officers responding, troopers were able to slow and stop the vehicle near the 3.8-mile marker…
