LUBBOCK, Texas — A former Lubbock apartment resident says she moved out after discovering a homeless man had been living inside her apartment while she was away for Christmas break.
Chloe Roberts said she received a phone call from Lubbock Police the day after Christmas informing her officers had found a man inside her apartment sitting on her couch. Police told her they believed maintenance crews had accidentally left her apartment unlocked while completing renovations.
When Chloe returned to the apartment, she said she found clothing that didn’t belong to her, food left behind, signs someone had slept in her bed and used her belongings.
