LUBBOCK, Texas — The award-winning Post Stampede Rodeo is kicking off on Thursday, August 6 until Saturday, August 8, where cowgirls and cowboys will compete in tough rodeo events.
This three-day event hosts rodeo contestants, fans and musicians from all over the U.S., Canada, Australia, Brazil and Mexico. Each performance is followed by nightly concerts featuring contemporary honky-tonk music. Rodeo events will include:

- Bareback Riding
- Saddle Bronc Riding
- Bull Riding
- Tie-Down Roping
- Barrel Racing

The Post Stampede has earned recognition as a contestant favorite and has been named one of the Top 25 Paying Rodeos of the Year. Below is the concert schedule; the start time is around 9:30 p.m., after the rodeo events.
