LUBBOCK, Texas — A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support Alexis, 28, and Aaliyah Wallace, 19, who both suffered serious, life-threatening injuries in a tragic crash on Thursday evening. A wrong-way driver collided head-on with their pickup truck along I-27, resulting in three deaths and several injuries.
According to the GoFundMe, Alexis is a U.S. Air Force veteran who is now suffering from several severe traumas, including a broken neck and shattered bones in both feet. Aaliyah was a student at Texas Tech University who suffered broken ribs and a shattered foot in need of reconstruction.
