LUBBOCK, Texas — A Lubbock teenager is sharing her experience with hip dysplasia in hopes of helping children facing the same diagnosis.
Seventeen-year-old Lanie Wagner was born with bilateral hip dysplasia, a condition where the hip socket does not fully cover the ball of the thighbone. After years of pain, she was diagnosed in middle school and underwent four surgeries over several years.
