LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit responded to 10th street and Avenue Q following an officer-involved pursuit. LPD said officers were called at 10:35 p.m. Wednesday night for an individual who was drag racing.
Upon arrival, officers attempted to stop the motorcycle, instead the motorcyclist led officers on a pursuit before striking a median center divider. The motorcyclist was transported to University Medical Center via ambulance with moderate injuries.
