LUBBOCK, Texas — It’s time for the community and law enforcement agencies to come together with one another for National Night Out at Rodgers Park.
This is an annual event that happens all over the country, with a Pennsylvania native deciding in 1984 that folks should come together to prevent crime and build trust with officers and firefighters in their community.

“The only time that people really have an interaction with the police department it is usually not on good circumstances. So being able to come out during a positive interaction is something that will create like lasting memories,” said officer Brandon Hamilton who works for LPD.
