LUBBOCK, Texas — LPD officials say that a suspect was pronounced deceased after Monday morning reports of a shots-fired call near the 1800 block of Parkway Drive.
The initial call was received at approximately 9:43 a.m., and the incident began as a check-suspect call due to a suspect brandishing a weapon while driving near the Canyon Lake area. He then traveled North on MLK and 19th and stopped briefly for officers who were attempting to make a felony stop.
