West Lubbock Loses A Breakfast Burrito Favorite As Lillies Place Shuts Down For Good

Lillie’s Place, a popular West Lubbock Mexican food/ breakfast restaurant, permanently closed on Friday, August 21st, according to a Facebook post from the eatery, leaving many fans saddened by the loss- and searching for a nearby place to satisfy their taste buds now.

Why Did Lillie’s Place In Lubbock Close?

While no specific reason was given for the closure, the proprietor stated, “It was a very difficult decision to make, but after lots and lots of prayer, we knew it is what is best for our family at this time.” In a follow-up post, the owner showed a photo of turning off multiple 2 a.m. alarms, saying, “12-15 hour days were really taking a toll.” I can only imagine!
