Lubbock thrift store set on fire, LFR asks for help identifying suspect

LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Fire Rescue asked for the public’s help in identifying a suspect accused of starting a fire at the ACB Thrift Store on Monday at 8:45 p.m.

LFR said it arrived at 1508 34th Street to a pile of clothes on fire in front of a structure fire. Crews managed to extinguish the fire without injury.

After reviewing surveillance video, it appears four juveniles were walking in front of the store, one intentionally lit the pile of clothes and fled the scene, LFR said. The suspect is a Hispanic male, about 5 feet 10 inches and weighs 150 pounds.
