Here are this week’s nominees
Marcos Cuevas, sophomore at Estacado High School
Marcos is a member of the swim team, One Act Play and Early College High School. He broke the Estacado swim record in the 100-yard backstroke, passed his Spanish 4 AP test to receive college credit, is currently taking dual credit courses with Texas Tech University through the Estacado Early College High School, and is a straight A student.
Anastyn Greaser, junior at Monterey High School
Anastyn was selected “Outstanding Attorney” for the Regional Mock Trial competition during the second round of the regional competition. She and her teammates finished the contest undefeated and as the number one seed advancing to the regional semi-final this week. Anastyn is a member of the pom squad, volleyball team, and student council while maintaining a straight A average.
